I went to the speakers’ corner.  No one was speaking.  Instead, a children’s merry-go-round has been installed.

    Silence of the lambs.
    Isn’t it sad? It’s sad.

Go to the Tate Museum in Pimilco .. go ! Go !

There is (or was in mid-June) a great exhibit about slavery and what was going on in British Parliament wrt to it, and a bunch of other interesting stuff, during the time of William Wilberforce, Mary Wollstonecraft, and other contemporaries.

Plus, the installation in the middle of the main hallway representing Biritsh protest against the Iraq invasion / occupation grabs you and does not let go.

Have you tried the famous echo in the reading room of the British Museum Library?

(quoting Gerard Hoffnung, god rest his soul, here ;-)
